Medical & Educational Help

These children come from a poor background and live-in unhygienic conditions. Most of the children below 5 years suffer from malnutrition and they seldom go to a hospital as they do not give importance to staying healthy and hygienic. Though the government has many schemes for free education, most of the children do not feel the need to go to school, as their parents do not understand the value of education. Due to their habits, lifestyle, and low-income earning capacity, they stay away from the general public.

Agape Life Line concentrates at the welfare of the children by giving nutritious food such as milk, bread, egg and fruits once a week. They are repeatedly oriented about the importance of sending the children to school. A barber is taken along to provide haircut whenever necessary as many have dishevelled hair. Blankets and food are provided in rainy and cold seasons. Recurrent efforts are made to teach the adults about hygiene, importance of education, change in lifestyle, and improving their standard of living, so that their children’s lives could be uplifted and become contributing citizens.
